Speak Out Against Animal Cruelty in The Cosmetics Industry

The cosmetic and beauty industries are huge. They are multibillion dollar businesses that continue to come up with new ideas and products to sell us with each passing year.

With the aging population products such as wrinkle cream, anti aging moisturizers and treatments are all the rage and flying off the shelves faster then you can say boo.

However are you aware what some of these companies do to animals to test the safety and effectiveness of their products? It’s down right sad that these companies are allowed to get away with what they do.

Rabbits are often a common victim of cosmetic companies who test for eye and skin irritation on these small helpless animals. They’re tested to the point where they cannot handle any more and then destroyed only to be replaced by another one who goes through the same horrible experiences.

What Can You do To Help?

While there are lots of activist groups such as PETA that you can get involved in and also make donations to help educate the public and bring laws into reality that will stop this cruelty there is something you can start doing today.

Speak out with your spending and vote for the companies you know aren’t testing on animals with your dollars you spend each and every day. Avoid the large brands that are testing on animals and opt for more ethical products. There are detailed lists of companies that do and don’t test on animals available online.

Spread the word to friends and let them know that you’re making this choice and I’m sure some of your friends will be on board with you. Be the change you want to see in the world!
